The story behind Claro

We started Claro because our neighbor and friend Kathleen got sick.

The reason we built this company is personal. Our neighbor Kathleen had been battling unexplained illness for over a year while undergoing intense medical treatment.

Her doctors finally found the cause was high levels of mycotoxins in her system but finding a cure for her home turned into a nightmare. She was quoted an outrageous $8,500 just for testing.

When she finally hired a traditional remediation team they fixed the drainage and removed drywall but they failed to eliminate the microscopic spores. Kathleen was left with a bill and a home that was still making her sick.

A search for answers

We took matters into our own hands and met with functional medicine doctors across the country from California to Texas and back here to Tennessee.
