This one’s a little different. No tests, no treatment—but a great example of how we can help you avoid a mold problem before you’re stuck with it.
A family in Franklin, TN was looking to buy a fixer-upper. They already knew the home had mold but wanted to understand just how bad it was. Was it something Claro could handle—or a much bigger issue?
They sent us this inspection report before our visit:
Nick from our team lives just a few minutes away—and he used to flip houses for a living, so he knows a thing or two about fixers. He was able to stop by on a Saturday, less than 12 hours after the first call.
Five minutes into his walkthrough, it was clear this wasn’t a simple mold job. The home had a serious water intrusion problem caused by missing siding and poor drainage. The resulting moisture hadn’t just triggered mold—it had caused major structural damage that would likely require gutting and reframing parts of the house.
This level of work was way beyond what the buyers had budgeted. Needless to say, they backed out of the deal.
Since we didn’t perform any testing or treatment, we didn’t charge the family. We were just glad they took our advice—and their agent ended up writing us a fantastic review.
